If your looking at this you know how amazing these little Silver Jubilee’s are – a little more gain than a JCM with more low end with way more reactive tone controls to really dial in that signature Marshall tone. Made in the UK too!

The Marshall 2525HD5 is the result of downsizing the legendary Silver Jubilee amp into a 20-watt head. Answering the prayers of players everywhere!

The Silver Jubilee is one of the most popular amps that Marshall has ever made. Now, not only can you get your hands on the same legendary tone, but in a much smaller 20w form! Made in the UK, this amplifier is absolutely stunning and certainly comes in as one of the best-sounding small format heads available today.

Long History

The Silver Jubilee was originally produced in 1987 to celebrate Marshall’s 25th Anniversary and 50 years of Jim Marshall being in the music business. Sadly, not too many were made due to the short run of just a single year of production. Taking inspiration (and actually a lot more) from the original circuitry, this 20w head version of the blues and rock legend is here!

20w Of Power

So while 20w may not sound like much… this amp is plenty loud! You can easily take this to a small-to-medium sized gig and be heard above the rest of the band. It’s still a low enough wattage for home use though, making it versatile enough for a variety of situations. Set up with EL34 power amp valves, this is a 20w british-sounding brute!

Silver Jubilee Preamp

Even with shrinking the classic 100w down to 20w, you still don’t lose any functionality. The amp still features the same three mode preamp system. ‘Clean/Rhythm’, ‘Rhythm Clip’ and ‘Lead’ channels each cover their own styles from crystal-clean with no gain to all-out, aggressive hard rock tones that can pull down walls!
