The G6122TG Players Edition Chet Atkins Country Gentleman is Gretsch at its most refined. An unmistakable blend of vintage elegance and modern performance engineering. Finished in a rich Walnut Stain with gold hardware, the double-cutaway hollow body model delivers unmistakable stage presence alongside the kind of reliability serious players demand. This particular example is in fantastic condition, it has been played but you’d be hard pressed to tell its been used.

Built from laminated maple and driven by a parallel bracing design, the body produces a lively, articulate voice with improved feedback resistance, thanks in part to its sealed top and simulated f-holes. The result is that unmistakable Gretsch chime: clear highs, tight lows and a responsive midrange that holds together under gain just as well as it shines clean.

The Players Edition spec brings it firmly into the modern era. A comfortable maple neck with a slick ebony fingerboard and 12″ radius makes for effortless bends and fast navigation, while the string-through Bigsby B6GP enhances sustain and simplifies restringing.
