We love these guitars, great looks, super simple and amazing to play. Sometimes you just want simplicity.
The mahogany body, neck and rosewood board in the Ebony finish make for a beautiful looking guitar. With a slim taper neck profile, a single 57 classic uncovered humbucker and wrap around bridge Gibson made a really slinky player with a great rock sound, lots of tonal variety here with our favourite of the Gibson pickups.
This particular guitar is nice and light and is really nicely finished (black is typically really tough to paint with as it shows every blemish). Condition wise its 9.75/10 excellent used condition shown in the photos with no significant scratches, dings, dents or

The Billie Joe Armstrong Les Paul Junior doesn’t do half measures. Gibson have created this signature guitar specifically for hard rock and big overdriven tones.
This is a modern take on the Junior shape first introduced in the 1950’s. Billie Joe designed his signature guitar with the Nashville company as a blank canvas, so you can leave your mark on music. No signature on the headstock, no names, no personalised graphics. It’s your guitar.
Sound
One ’57 Classic humbucker occupies the bridge position, and it’s a powerhouse of a pickup. It needs to be as all your sonic variation will be produced from its one volume and one tone knob.
The ’57 Classic has a huge, vintage voicing Billie Joe is known for using throughout his career. The EQ is expansive, with plenty of top end bite and fat lows to fill Green Day’s singular guitar line-up. It handles gain with ease.
Body and neck
The Mahogany body adds loads of sustain for big, ringing power chords. Gibson use rich tonewoods with a full resonance.
The LP Junior also sports a fast, slim taper Mahogany neck for high-octane playing. On top is a grainy Rosewood fingerboard embedded with 22 cryogenically-treated frets of effortless playability.
Hardware
The Les Paul Junior Signature is a stripped back, what you see is what you get guitar. No flashy hardware or extra dials. Just great tone and plenty of comfort.
It has a tektoid nut and hard tailpiece to keep you in tune no matter how enthusiastically you play. While a tortoise shell pickguard is in keeping with the retro 50’s style.
