Gibson J-45 Standard 2019 Vintage Sunburst – Excellent Condition 9.5/10.

The Gibson J-45 Standard in Vintage Sunburst is an icon. Played on thousands of records and favoured by guitarists worldwide. If you want that beautiful Gibson bell like chime this is the one. The guitar is in excellent condition and is only a couple of years old. It’s hardly been played with only the single blemish of note shown in the photos 2mm in size along with some very minor marks to the back as pictured (only visible in direct light). It sounds absolutely fantastic and punches well above its size too. Acoustically whether strummed or played fingerstyle it has the fantastic warm Gibson chime with fantastic mid range.

The frets are immaculate and electronics are working perfectly as you’d expect from any quality acoustic guitar that hasn’t seen much playtime. Since its release back in 1942 the J45 has developed a reputation as the finest workhorse acoustic around, with its full, rich tone and effortless playability and it’s very easy to understand why.

The guitar features a Mahogany back and sides and fuses it with the tonal quality of Sitka Spruce. With an organic and beautifully balanced tone, Sitka Spruce offers plenty of mids and great harmonic overtones.

The Mahogany Slim Taper neck is really comfortable too with the Rosewood fingerboard.

Electronics wise the guitar has an onboard LR Baggs Element VTC pickup system, giving you complete control over your sound. Perfect for the stage or studio.
