This particular guitar is an absolute gem, the last of the ES-335 made in the famous Nashville factory. It’s been really well looked after in its 26years on the earth and is in the more sought after flame maple finish! – If your looking for a 335 that stands out, this is the one. It has a beautiful classic cherry hue and sounds fantastic with the ’57 classics (Our all time favourite Gibson pickups) with these earlier guitars held in very high regard in terms of quality and attention to detail.

The guitar is a fantastic player and in excellent vintage, used condition. There are some very minor dings that are hard to spot unless in direct light and the odd very minor blemish expected on a 26year old used guitar (see images). The guitar is stock throughout and completely unmodified. The guitar is ageing beautifully with the Nickel hardwear tarnished throughout. For a 26 year old used guitar it doesn’t seem to have had much use and has been very well looked after in its time.

Gibson spared no expense on woods for this creation – the top, back and sides are all Flame Maple with a really nice almost 3 Dimensional profile in the classic hue of the cherry red finish. It is difficult to photograph the flame is on this, subtle but very classy indeed with the back of the guitar being just as good as the front.

All hardware is nickel, and there’s a classic ABR-1 bridge with a stopbar tailpiece. Neck length is 24 3/4 inches with a 1 11/16-inch nut width. Grover kidney buttons keep everything in check and the ’57 Classic PAF pickups take care of tone. The usual control array of two volume pots, two tone pots, and a three-way pickup selector switch allows you to dial in everything from clean jazz, blues all the way through to hard rock.

The original Gibson hardcase is included.
