Gibson ES-330 TC 1961 Cherry. 8/10 Very Good Vintage condition.

The guitar looks to be original aside from a small binding repair, period correct replacement tuners and recent refret. Its original case is long gone.

The body features the desirable wider 42mm nut width and “mickey mouse” contours. There is lacquer checking throughout as you’d expect with only minor wear to the front of the body. There are a few small dings to the back of the body but nothing major to speak of. There is a small ding near the neck heel and the finish is worn as you’d expect with any vintage guitar. The red hue is still very vivid and looks fantastic. See pictures for further detail.

There are no breaks or repairs to the guitar aside from the small area of binding pictured. The guitar has a professional re-fret and plays superbly, with period correct fret-wire ready for its new owner, it sounds and plays fantastically across the board as you would expect.

All hardware & electronics are in excellent working order with the nickel hardware in great shape. The binding has yellowed but is intact. The pickup and electronics are also original to the guitar.

Plugged in the guitar really shines, every tone you could wish for is available with great a response across the board from jazz through to rock n roll this one will do it all! The original Gibson P90 pickups has a really warm and rich tone to it and crank it up for more snarl. These are quickly appreciating collectible guitars and can cover a lot of ground tonally.
