The Gibson Custom Shop Non Reverse Firebird VII is a rare special order from 2007 that combines vintage looks and feel with modern craftsmanship. The TV White finish looks absolutely sublime paired with the gold hardware and really does have a unique look.

This particular example was purchased and put away by a collector, sitting under the bed since it was imported from the USA in 2007. The only thing worth noting is some colour bleed/migration from the Gibson Custom hardcase. This is completely normal with White Nitro finishes and does not detract from the guitar. Aside from this the guitar is as it left the Gibson Custom Shop. The frets are in perfect shape, along with the rest of the guitar.

Being a non-reverse lightweight and resonant guitar this Firebird has the advantage of being a bit more compact to play. The C neck profile fits beautifully in the hand and makes for an addictive “pick me up” playing experience. The stop tail and ABR-1 setup give much better tuning stability and intonation than vintage specs ever allowed and seems like one of those guitars that feels like a sleeper. Vintage-inspired, but can pack a serious punch. Three Firebird mini-humbucking pickups deliver a smooth but full tone with plenty of clarity and sustain. These pickups are re-known for great treble response, a bit like a single coil. Perfect for cutting through the mix with vintage warmth and modern punch.
