Who doesn’t love a Les Paul Junior Double Cut. Probably one of the simplest most eye catching models in the Gibson lineup. Amazing sounds and an amazing weight at 7.1lb. The guitar is super resonant and a beautifully slinky player! The P90 absolutely roars when plugged in and cleans up nicely with the volume rolled off. It’s a 2020 model so the most historically accurate and up-to date version. The guitar hasn’t seen much playtime so save yourself £700 on a new one!

The guitar is in excellent condition with no dings, damage, dents or knocks – pretty much as it shipped from the Gibson Custom Shop with the original VOS ageing appointments on the guitars hardwear and finish.

The original Gibson custom hardcase, certiticate of autheticity, all manuals and Gibson check card are included.

When plugged in the guitar is an absolute tone monster, very resonant and has sustain for days with the long tenon neck joint ready for anything from blues all the way through to punk the dog ear P90 on this just sings! The mahogany neck is a rounded 58 historically accurate profile and holds tune really well and has sustain for days with its one piece body, wrap tail bridge and long neck tenon. This is one of those guitars that just seems to get better the louder you play – especially if your pushing a nice smaller valve amp with that P90!

1958 was a monumental year for Gibson in which a whole new lineup of now-famous models were introduced. One of them was the redesigned “double cutaway” Les Paul Junior, which has since found its place in music history as a favorite of hard rock musicians.

The extra fret access of the double-cut construction allows upper octave leads while the “simple is better” single-pickup setup projects only thick, heavy tone. Gibson Custom Shop has proudly revived the original recipe from 1958 for this Historic Reissue, from the solid mahogany and hide glue construction to the vintage-style wiring. It is an accurate and faithful replica in every possible way.
