Built to capture one of grunge’s most iconic players, the Mike McReady signature strat delivers everything from glassy cleans to searing, blues-soaked leads with ease. The folks at the Ensenada, Mexico plant are making some incredible guitars at the moment and this is no exception. We were really surprised at the quality and attention to detail on these guitars. A full nitrocellulose finish throughout with high quality tonewoods used, vintage hardware, Mike McReady custom wound pickups and the Fender treble bleed circuit, this is a lot of guitar for the money and a fantastic weight for a strat.

The super comfortable alder nitrocellulose ’60 Strat body and slim C maple neck with slab rosewood fretboard make it a dream for players. The roadworn finish really enhances the comfort and feel of the guitar with lots of additional McReady signature touches.

The Alder body is loaded with signature custom wound Mike McReady 60’s vintage-voiced single coils and the Fender treble bleed circuit, it has that unmistakable Strat chime on the top end, a warm, expressive midrange, and just the right amount of grit when you dig in. Whether you’re chasing smoky blues licks, grunge anthems, or hard rock this guitar responds and takes it all in its stride. This guitar represents incredible value for money in a very vintage feeling package and is pretty much as it left the factory with case candy, tremolo etc unopened.
