Fender Custom Shop NAMM Limited Run “L Series” 1964 Stratocaster Relic 2014 Candy Apple Red – Excellent 9.5/10 Condition.

The guitar is all original and unmodified. It features a beautiful Candy Apple Red thin skin Nitro finish on the body with some gorgeous natural wear and ageing recreated by Fenders best. The mid 60s oval C neck profile is gorgeous. Quartersawn from maple with a AAA grade Rosewood board make for a beautifully playable neck. Definitely one of the nicer Rosewood boards we’ve seen, the grain is lovely and tight.

The guitar is very resonant at 6.6lb (on our scales) and has that signature super versatile strat tone as it is spec’d with 3 x handwound ’69 Josefina Campos pickups, re-known as one of the best pickup winders in Fenders Custom Shop. The guitar is very resonant, has fantastic response and superb performance across the board.

A real delight to play as you would expect. Save yourself £1500 on a new one!
