The Fender Custom Shop Custom Deluxe Tele blends the classic performance of the Telecaster with the modern looks of a figured drop top. Looks absolutely gorgeous, if you play blues, country, jazz this is the one for you.

The guitar features a lightweight and resonant Ash body with a beautiful AAA Maple cap. The top on this thing looks unbelievable and will shimmer beautifully under those stage lights. Really 3 dimensional with great depth as you would expect from a Fender Custom Shop Guitar. The quilt top sits under a stunning faded cherry burst Finish….Easily the most striking Tele we’ve had in for a while! The condition of this one is absolutely fantastic with no issues whatsoever. The frets are perfect and the condition thoughout is fantastic, you’d be hard pressed to tell it is a used guitar.

The Medium C Neck Profile feels fantastic in the hand but not too bloated, much more like a 58/59 Gibson C neck profile. The neck is made from a piece of quartersawn Lightly Flamed Maple with a tight grain dark Rosewood fingerboard, abalone inlays and Sperzel pearl button tuners to finish the deluxe treatment. The fretboard sports a 9.5″ radius and has medium jumbo frets installed.

The pickups are a set of Custom Shop handwound Twisted Tele’s. These sound phenomenal and are really versatile too. You can cover a lot of tonal ground with this guitar from the Classic Tele tones, all the way to a Strat. The neck pickup is more open and airy than your typical Tele neck pickup. More like a Strat pickup, making the neck pickup far more usable, especially for leads. They are tied to classic Telecaster Controls: a master volume, master tone, and 3-way switch.

The hardware is chrome throughout with a custom chrome plated steel bridge plate and chromed brass saddles ensuring tuning stability and intonation of the guitar is rock solid.
