We have the pleasure to move on this beauty, a late John Page era Custom Shop Custom American Classic Stratocaster. One of the later guitars to leave the custom shop during the re-known high quality craftsmanship of the John Page/Vince Cunetto Era. This is #006 of a run of the Custom American Classic Stratocasters made by the Custom Shop with the first ever (Generation #1) Noiseless Pickups from Fender Custom Shop.

This particular guitar is in beautiful condition and has lived under a bed in private collection. The frets are at full height and is in immaculate condition. It has no fretwear whatsoever and is complete with its original case, owners manual, hang tags, strap, tremolo arm, extra springs and the all important Custom Shop Certificate hand written and signed by John Page.

If you are still reading this, you know what this is. Something quite special in this condition and highly sought after amongst collectors and players alike. The guitar features a beautiful figured birdseye maple neck with beautiful patterning. The neck features the Classic USA C profile we all know and love, really easy to play and super comfortable.

Plugged in the guitar sounds fantastic with the first ever Noiseless pickups Fender ever made. As you’d expect with these, this one can really do it all and is super versatile. The Custom Shop operation was a much smaller team of highly skilled luthiers back in ’98 allowing for much higher attention to detail during the build process. Every instrument from the Fender Custom Shop during this period was hand crafted and meticulously detailed.
