Fender Custom Shop 1952 Telecaster Closet Classic Light Relic 2015 White Blonde – Excellent Condition 9.25/10.

An absolutely gorgeous tele with a tasteful light relic (closet classic) finish straight out of the Fender Custom shop. This one hasn’t seen much use and is pretty much as it left the shop. Not many of these around in the white blonde finish which looks fantastic with the wood grain show through. A very subtle light relic with a very beautiful attention to detail with finish checking all over and the odd ding to the body here and there (all created by the artisans at the Fender Custom Shop).

The guitar is beautifully resonant with great tone, featuring custom shop 51/52 handwound pickups, a gorgeous U shaped Nocaster profile neck and ash body so you get that lovely subtle “worn in” feel. Just like you’ve had it sat in the wardrobe all these years. The Ash body has a very thin nitrocellulose white blonde finish, really allowing the wood to “breathe” and give the guitar resonance. You can see the beautiful grain of the Ash underneath the paint so the more this guitar is played it’s only ever going to look even better!

The pickups are particularly sweet sounding on this model and it sounds fantastic plugged in. A great example of a telecaster thats just a little bit different than the usual blonde finish available.
