Fender Custom Shop 1952 ’52 Telecaster Heavy Relic 2019 Blonde – Excellent Condition 9.5/10.

Today we have an absolutely gorgeous ’52 Tele for you with a tasteful heavy relic finish straight out of the Fender Custom Shop. The guitar is beautifully resonant at 7.5lb with great tone. This one hasn’t seen much use and is pretty much as it left the shop. The blonde finish looks fantastic with the beauty of the lightweight Ash grain showing through. The heavy relic finish has beautiful attention to detail throughout the guitar with finish checking, dings and wear all over the body (all created by the artisans at the Fender Custom Shop). The Ash body has a very thin nitrocellulose blonde finish, really allowing the wood to “breathe” and give the guitar great resonance. The more this guitar is played the better its going to look!

A gorgeous ’52 “U” shaped Telecaster rift sawn maple neck with 9.5′ radius and Ash body are super comfortable with that beautifully “worn in” feel. There are no marks or dings to the back of the neck with heavy fret ghosting and the finish removed from the 1st to 12th fret of the back of the neck by the Fender Custom Shop. It’s like you’ve had it sat on its stand all these years and played it every night since!

Featuring a Custom Shop ’51 handwound pickup in the neck and a ’51 No-caster flat pole in the bridge the guitar really has that Tele twang and sounds fantastic across the board. The pickups are particularly sweet sounding on this model and it sounds fantastic plugged in with great sustain and resonance. A fine example of a ’52 telecaster that has that truly “worn in” feel.
